New linear accelerator tested in Palo Alto, CA
H&H was honored to perform the first-ever installation in the world of this brand new radiation therapy machine into the OEM's factory for testing. We were happy to share our knowledge and expertise on this project, and even had the privilege to assist in the creation of the machine's installation manual.
Crane lifts linear accelerator up and threads through a parking garage opening at UCLA
At the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, H&H made use of a 360-ton hydraulic crane in order to lift this linear accelerator up from the street and thread through a small parking garage opening located 280 feet away. Not only did we safely rig and install this machine successfully, but we also set up and coordinated the entire project having to do with crane operation, road closures, traffic control, permits and communications with local authorities to ensure a safe and proper installation.
Radiation therapy machine installed in Springfield, MO
As with almost all of our installations, H&H began this job over the weekend and completed turnover early in the same week allowing for minimal impact to the customer's facility and workflow.
